Mona Yusi Zhang
Mona Zhang is a dedicated and experienced lawyer specializing in real estate, corporate law, family law, and estate law. With nearly a decade of experience in the legal industry (even before called to the bar in Ontario), she provides clients with strategic and practical legal solutions tailored to their needs.
Originally from China, Mona came to Canada in 2016 as an international student. She completed her undergraduate studies at York University and earned her LLM from Osgoode Hall Law School. Throughout her studies, she worked part-time at various law firms, gaining hands-on experience that laid a strong foundation for her legal career.
Mona articled at a boutique law firm in Toronto, where she expanded her expertise beyond real estate law to include corporate law, family law, and estate matters. Before that, she worked as an underwriter at First Canadian Title, a leading title insurance company, where she handled complex title issues and fraud prevention, saving companies millions of dollars through her keen attention to detail and risk assessment skills. Additionally, she gained substantial experience in private lending law while working at both mid-sized and boutique firms.
Now, as a practicing lawyer, Mona takes a detail-oriented, client-focused approach to every case. Whether she is assisting clients with real estate transactions, private mortgage lending, business structuring, or family and estate planning matters, she is committed to providing clear, effective, and results-driven legal solutions.
Beyond her legal career, Mona is passionate about outdoor activities, volunteering, and is a proud owner of three cats.
